Behind the Scenes

By Kimberly Lewis

Kimberly Lewis Home

Yesterday I spent the afternoon with Adam shooting my second collection of wallpaper. I’m super excited to be launching this collection since it has been such a long time in the making. It all started this summer when I launched it on IndieGoGo and it wouldn’t be possible without everyone who contributed to the campaign! I am working with my web developer to tweak a few things on my e-commerce site and the new collection should be up hopefully within the next week! I am SO excited to share it with you. Here is a sneak peek at what went on behind the scenes.

Installation Photos: Sierra in Cadmium

By Kimberly Lewis

I absolutely LOVE it when clients send over photos of products in their homes. I received these photos from Elizabeth who is also a designer and runs Oia Jules. Elizabeth used Sierra in Cadmium in her hallway and added frames with black and white photos of her adorable son. The Yellow/Grey/Black color combo is striking and adds some unexpected pattern to what could be a rather boring hallway.

We can only kept a glimpse of what lies beyond in the living room but from what I can see I can only imagine that the rest is just as fun!

We’ve had a lot of interest in using using our wallpaper ‘Striped’ in both Cloudberry and Cadmiun in a nursery so we thought that it would be fun to style a nursery around it. We tried to keep the room gender neutral yet add a bit of playfulness.

How would you style ‘Striped’ in a nursery? Check back for more ways to incorporate Kimberly Lewis Home wallpapers in interiors.

DIY Life : Random Recast

By Kimberly Lewis

This week I can be found over at AOL’s do-it-yourself community DIY Life. I am sharing a new project everyday in the column Random Recast which focuses on using common household objects in non-traditional manners. I’ve curated a selection of projects for the week and they all focus on using wallpaper.

In todays project I use my wallpaper Marigny to make pinwheels. I think that these would make perfect centerpieces for a summer soiree! I am planning one soon and they may be making an appearance.

Make sure to stop by DIY Life everyday until Friday to see what else I’m up to!

We have also added wallpaper by the sheet recently. Perfect for framing or trying your hand at one of the projects I will be sharing on DIY Life. Find it over on the Kimberly Lewis Home website.

It has been a whirlwind week and we also celebrated with our 500th follower on Twitter! If we aren’t Twitter friends yet what are you waiting for?! Find me over @KLewisHome Looking forward to tweeting with you!
